Marvel-lous mirror...

So I thought I'd let one of the sprogs do some crafting today. 

There was a £3 mirror I had bought that needed transforming into a mirror worthy of a Teen's room. 

This involved a trip to a geek shop for an old comic and back home again for some painting and sticking. 

We made a small amount of chalk paint using a blue tester tube and did a couple of coats. 

Then it was a case of my sprog cutting the strips from the comic and sticking with PVA. 

That was it!

That simple!

The results might not be precise but sprog is very happy with the results so it was indeed a successful little project. 

Not bad for a £3 mirror and a cheap comic :)

(Oh, and I know one or 2 of you may be wardrobe geeks too and have looked at the title of this post and cringed at the Marvel reference...

but, hey!  Can YOU think of a caption with DC in it?  

I think not!)
