Progress so far....

Hi folks. 

Lurgy still reigns surpreme here in the JJ household. 

Thought I would give you a little update on this blustery Sunday. 

The bookcase needs waxing and distressing (but not in that order).

I just decoupaged a little Royal Albert bouquet on the top to give it a teeny bit more interest. 

I love the wiggly shaped sides on the unit:

The wotnot stand is pretty much ready for parting with. 

I just decoupaged a few roses but sized them to fit the staggered shelves.

I added a vintage lace trim at the edge of the shelves:

The little side table is a work in progress. Don't know whether to try making an acetate stencil and adding a French sign on the top or just part with it as it is to give me a bit of room:

The nest of tables is only half complete as the larger table had to wait until the leg repair was completed. 

Here is the baby table though:

I will obviously do the larger one to match :)

Had a great time booting this morning at 8am. 

I have yet to get may 'bootage' from the car though. 

Pictures of my bargain chintz may be in a later post if I get the time to sneak it in the house... ;)
