The youngest of my sprogs is full of the lurgy this morning so that allows me a full day indoors to layer one or 2 of my recent bargains with the chalk paint recipe :)
Here is my bookcase as it stands right now with its undergarments on.
Despite being beside the 'fire' (I use this term loosely as a hair dryer gives off more heat), it looks like it needs another layer or 2.
Still don't know how its gonna look yet.
I fancy making up a different colour, maybe a truffle, grey or sage but as I am gonna be (possibly) starting the other projects hiding in my car (Hubster is at work 12 hours today so the coast is as clear as it's ever gonna get), I am worried that I won't get the colour blend exactly the same for successive batches.
Hmmm, decisions, decisions.
Anyhoo, to help me keep my mojo, I have the '88 school reunion toons helping me along.
(Haha, maybe I just like that era, ok!)

Were full of the lurgy too, have been for a week :( loving the look of that with chalk paint :) I want to chalk paint our living room tablet soon. Its a very solid pine coffee table, I love it, but it has been a bit battered. Xx
