Woolly heart with ribbon and rose

Stayed up late tonight watching a movie with my sprogs as it has been a particularly rough day. 

As my hands cannot remain still for long, out came the hook. 

I hooked up a little hanging heart with a bit of old lace (unpicked from the cuff of a garment that was upcycled a while back) and pinned to the heart with a teeny tiny vintage china rose brooch (car boot ages ago for pence and put in my button jar). 

I have absolutely no idea where it will hang as they are now breeding on my door handles. 

It was fun to do though and believe me, I needed the therapy!
