What to do today?

Good morning, one and all :D

I'm feeling good at the moment because:

I am up.

I am dressed.

My washing is on the radiators drying.

The kids are fed and the evidence is gone.

The beds are made.

ALL my housework is done.

My bins are out for the refuse collection.

My sprogs are working on their own little projects.

Therefore I am FREE to craft away without any pangs of guilt or conscience!

Oh what joy!

This leaves me with the very acceptable problem of, 'So what should I do with my day?'

Should I finish off my footstool project or start my drinks cabinet project?

This is the update of where I am with my chequered stool:

I am thinking maybe plain burgundy for the sides?

It will be a real gamble if I have enough burgundy though. I might have to do a hem made up of rows of one of the other colours to make up any deficit.

Sadly I cannot remember which burgundy it was that I used.

I think it was one I picked up 2 years ago at Anglesey!  Oops.

Option 2 is currently at this stage:

It is all masked with tape and nearly ready for the chalk treatment.

My toile paper has arrived from eBay for the back and I am awaiting my escutcheons for the keyholes as the shell covers are cracked and only partially remaining.

I have ordered 2 metal ones instead.

Hope they fit!

I think a coffee might help me to plan my day....

Let's all say a big, 'Yay' for being organised and industrious!!!

(I really should try this more often!)

Hugs x
