My next project...

Hi again. 

Im afraid I might be getting a little too enthusiastic on my first day but I HAVE to show you this. 

It is a purchase I made yesterday (along with a wotnot stand, a nest of 2 tables, an occasional table and I think there was something else but I can't remember what now having slept since). 

It has been stored in the car along with the other things so as not to alarm the hubster. 

As the coast is clear, I have pulled out the biggest of my bargains (possibly in both value and size). 

It was £7.50 at a cancer charity shop. 

I now have no room for further furniture *sob* so it is purely for satiating my creative urges and then for resale to pay for my habits. 

Its a pretty cute little piece. 

Chalk paint first then who knows what else. 

Possibly paper backed?  Raised stencil? Regular stencil? Distressing?  Maybe I could experiment with a different colour other than my play safe antique white?

Who knows!  (Not me, that's for sure!). 

It will come to life as all my previous projects have as I just stand by and revel on its slow transformation unveiling before me. 

Ooh, the pleasure.  

My pleasure is always accompanied with pain, however as the males in the house cringe at the burgeoning chintz before them

Fortunately I have developed an immunity to their sighs and chunterings. 😉
