The vintage dressing table complete finally.

So here it is. 

The final product. 

Can you remember how it looked initially?

A bit different now, huh?!

The mirror was originally like this:

It had fell out of the casing and was not secure to the back board. 

It now looks like this:

It has been secured, painted and trimmed with the prettiest of laces. 

All the protruding nails have gone. 

It has been sanded and the 4 runners have been repositioned so that the drawers go in properly:

But now:

I like the finish on it now it has been waxed as it has a lovely low sheen:

I absolutely adore vintage furniture as it lends itself so well to transformations. 

Isn't it simply scrumptious?

Wish I was a young girl again.

Hubster is getting a little fed up of restorations now so I gotta keep him sweet. 

I might be doing more crochet n fabric crafts for a while (as these can be stuffed in the corner when I see the car pull up....) ;)
