Weeding n seeding in the sun

More sunshine this afternoon beckoned me into the garden :D

I managed to do a few jobs that were begging to be done. 

1) I decided to make a couple more bird feeders as I found these cups that have no saucers:

2) I decided to use some leftover oil cloth and the old rickety garden table to make a feeding station for the chooks. 

It is a great way to keep their feed dry :)

3) Then it was time to tackle some of the veggie beds on the front right side of the garden:

How shameful is this neglect?!

Anyhow, after a long time on my knees, it is now weed free and seeded:

I was delighted to see that the enclosure that was made barren by the chickens, is now showing the first tell tale signs of recovery since their move to another part of the garden:

How WONDERFUL!!!

I think I will repaint the footboards and panels before they are moved back in for summertime. 

It's another task on my to do list for this spring :)

So, not a bad day, all in all. 

It is getting there slowly but surely.
