You've been framed, part II ..and cups of lard!

Hi,

I stumbled across another HUMUNGOUS backless and glass-less frame at a charity shop this afternoon for £6

I happen to have another ikea frame that is in need of bring replaced (actually I have several!).

This is the one that needed to go:

I recycled the back board and Perspex by cutting to fit the frame.

Even though the frame looks larger, the mount is a wee bit smaller.

And here it is:

No painting necessary. I love it just the way it is!!!!

.....

Another little update is that my sprogs made me some fat balls recently for the birds which were hanging in disposable plastic cups.

PLASTIC CUPS!!!

I happen to save all teacups whether chipped or without saucers so I decided to repurpose a few yesterday:

Tada:

...MUCH more my cup of tea!!

.....

The little girls dressing table has had 3 coats of paint thus far and about to receive another for durability (well it is intended for a child!)

I am toying with the possibility of making it a Cath Kidston inspired one and affixing  pinking sheared fabric panels on the 2 drawers in a chintzy blue/pink.

Still open to ideas pouring into my noggin though.

I let the pieces develop as they will.

(I rarely know how stuff is gonna look at the outset.) :)

Have a great weekend, peeps x
